Worthington's Law Release New Single

Updated: Mar 17, 2022

Worthington’s Law began at the confluence of a global pandemic and one man’s midlife crisis. After 18 years of not being in a band, former The Benders frontman Nick Faber began writing new punk songs in 2020. Inspired by current events and bands like the Vandals and NOFX, Nick produced the satirical “Gaga for MAGA” and invited his friend and former Benders guitarist Chris Straub (Crab Action) to lay down the guitar track.

In January of 2021, Nick teamed up with Scotty Sandwich (Halloween Year, Almost People) and Vinny Daraio (ex-Bayside) to record “State O Mind” for an MU330 tribute compilation. This same trio would record Worthington’s Law’s 2021 “dadcore” EP, Suburban Hell on Wheels, with Scotty recording, mixing, and mastering.

Later that year, Nick and Scotty recorded “I Don’t Wanna Be Santa” as Worthington’s Law for Fixed Frequency Record Label’s Holiday Wrecker Vol II. Their new EP, La Cosa Nova, is due out April 1 on Fixed Frequency.

Worthington’s Law is also putting together a live band for shows in 2022, adding Jonny Clousson and Will Cowart to the lineup.
